TheModeLife Launches MODEwatch at Fashion’s Night Out

Grand Rapids, MI—August 15, 2011—TheModeLife (TML), a collective movement of women with style in all aspects of life, hits the streets to support Fashion’s Night Out (FNO)—a nationwide fashion event taking place on September 8, 2011. To build awareness of the event, TML will launch its MODEwatch initiative with street teams positioned in major cities including Grand Rapids, Austin, New York, and Chicago.

MODEwatch is a new feature on TheModeLife.com where contributors photograph people and things that exemplify “Real. Style.” TheModeLife will support Fashion’s Night Out through this viral campaign: “Will you make the MODEwatch?” TML street teams will search for attendees showing unique and authentic beauty. It will offer an interactive element complementing FNO New York’s online activity with images of people at the event uploaded real-time to the MODEwatch website.  Contributors are heavily recruiting street team volunteers right now and hope to secure more than 100 people.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Fashion’s Night Out across the country,” says Tiffany Skilling, founder and CEO of TheModeLife. “We believe in the cause and hope that MODEwatch assists in creating more awareness of FNO before, during, and after the event.”

TheModeLife team is very passionate about helping FNO create lots of noise for this good cause. Documenting people during the event who are neither celebrities nor models will add a real and photojournalist point of view and help influence the way women perceive style.
