After graduating from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, Melissa jumped headfirst into a PR career at a Southeast Michigan public relations agency.

With a spring DIY wedding to plan, you’re right in assuming that many of her posts will be about wedding trends, DIY projects, budget juggling and planning mishaps/triumphs. That and the occasional musings of a 20-something.

When she’s not driving two hours to Grand Rapids to visit her bearded fiancé, you can find her biking around town, writing lists, drinking good beer, scouring interesting blogs and watching horrible movies on Netflix.
