Kristen Outwater, Contributor

Kristen Outwater is from Dorr, MI.  She lives in controlled chaos with her husband Ben Outwater and four children: Brianna (7), Braylen (5), Kendall aka “Squishy” (3), and Brody (10 months).

Kristen is a full-time high school Spanish teacher at East Kentwood High School where she has taught for nine years.  She received her BA in Spanish with a minor in Psychology and an emphasis in Secondary Education at Grand Valley State University.  She later earned a M.Ed. in Post-Secondary and Higher Education at Capella University in MN and has studied in the M.Ed. School Counseling program at Grand Valley State University.

Kristen loves cooking, food and wine, exercising (in order to enjoy the previous to its’ utmost potential), staying active, interior design, thrift store shopping and going to garage sales, bargain hunting, traveling, and spending time with her husband, children, and friends.
