When she’s not busy having a blast with her husband and three little ones, it’s quite likely that Lauren Befus may be hiding out in her garden, cleaning out the family’s tiny, but incredibly stanky urban chicken coop (yes, you read that right), traveling or drinking a glass of wine in the hammock. Lauren has lived in the Grand Rapids area for more than 10 years. She and her husband, Michael, are pastors at Vineyard North Church. After graduating from Calvin College in 2003, Lauren worked as a reporter at a local newspaper before selling out for a better schedule and higher salary in marketing. Since the birth of her second child, Lauren has had the privilege (most days she calls it that!) of staying at home to raise her babies. She also has her own blog, My Mom Badge.
