Marie Stoneburner, Contributor

Marie Stoneburner lives in Sanford, Michigan with her husband Lyle who she met on an on-line dating site 6 years ago.  She has worked at Dow Corning in Midland, Michigan for twenty-five years.  She obtained her Associates Degree in Business in 1976 from Delta College and after 32 years away from school, (if you do the math she went back to college in 2008) began attending Northwood University to obtain a bachelor’s degree.  She will  graduate this fall with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.  Marie is the mother of contributor Chelsea Slocum.

She loves camping, Pine Island, Florida, thrift store shopping, being creative, beach days with the “girls”, wine and weekends with absolutely no plans.

The no person’s life is perfect, Marie considers herself very blessed.  She has a loving husband, friends she has shared life with since first grade, sisters who are best friends, interesting and vibrant children, and beautiful grandchildren.
