Laura Sauer, Contributor

Laura lives in Howell, MI with her husband, Chris, two beautiful boys, Avery and Evan, and two Shiba Inu pups.  She has obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in history from Michigan State University, is pursuing her Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College, and has taught high school English and English as a Second Language for eight years, both in Wesley Chapel, FL, and currently in Okemos, MI.

When not being a wife, mommy, and teacher, Laura enjoys reading and writing for pleasure, spending time outdoors with her family at their summer cottage, and indulging in the occasional comedic film.  As part of her passion for writing, Laura maintains Laura maintains a personal blog, Catharsis. Catharsis embodies her cynical side and also houses Familes Coping with Infant Stroke which is dedicated to raising awareness about pediatric stroke, something her youngest son suffered in utero.
