Michelle’s path towards the Advertising/Marketing field gained momentum when she began her education at Michigan State University (GO GREEN!).  Upon graduation, she began working in Grand Rapids, MI as a Media Consultant.  Michelle loves the sunshine and it makes her heart happy, so she packed up her life and made the move to beautiful and sunny Austin,TX.  There, she landed a job as the Director of Marketing at The Belmont.  Now, she is pursuing an added skill in something that she has loved her whole life….hair and makeup! She is a student at one of only nine US institutes that encompass the prestigious Vidal Sassoon technique.

Michelle currently resides in Austin, TX.  Her interests outside of writing for The Mode Life include drinking wine, conversing, CrossFit, playing with hair and makeup, the elderly and her nephew Blake!
