the magic potion!!
For Christmas this past year, Santa a.k.a, my friend Tricia, surprised me with a sweet little gift in the form of what I now call magic potion. A bottle of Modern Fusion from Origins would be the technical title. My skincare product experiences are strangely similar to my dating experiences. I either love it (them) in the beginning but they’re just not strong enough for the long haul and it just doesn’t work out, OR I don’t believe in it (them) from the very beginning and don’t even give it (them) a chance. Strange to draw the parallel with skincare products and failed relationships, but if the shoe fits…..
Regardless of my previous fails, I’m very excited to try any new product that comes my way, but honestly, my expectations were not sky high, as with skincare, I’ve been let down so many times.
It is rare that I really LOVE everything about a product, and even more rare that it actually works on my skin! In the end, Modern Fusion gets a passing grade from me!
I began using this weightless serum religiously after my face wash both day and night. I’ve now used it for one month and I feel that although my skin will never be perfect, it has seemed that majority of dullness, roughness and sallowness have disappeared. I also enjoy the clean fresh smell of the serum. Origins claims that the drab buildup of lazy, lackluster, cells will quickly dissolve. Smoothness should be renewed and restored without the usual redness, flaking or unpleasant sensation. And with regular use, the glow, luminosity, clarity, vibrancy, uniform texture and tone, a.k.a. a radiant youthful appearance, should return.
I, for one, am sold. The only problem is that the amount is pretty small and the bottle is $42.00. I went through a full bottle in about one month and even tried to use sparingly (2-3 pumps)!! So it’s not extremely budget friendly, but it works – so, to me it’s worth it!
