DIY Fabric Poms
Since I first became a fan of www.etsy.com I’ve been crazy about all of the adorable accessories sold on the site covered with fabric poms. They’re cute, feminine and flirty and guess what? They’re easy to make.
Supplies: felt, cotton fabric, hot glue gun, scissors
Step 1
Cut out a felt circle with a diameter of 1-1.5 inches
Step 2
Cut out 8-12 circles of cotton fabric that are close in size to your felt circle.
*Don’t worry about perfection, ovals or even semi-round blobs work just as well as a perfect circle.
Step 3
Fold and scrunch one of the fabric circles making a layered cone.
Step 4
Apply hot glue to the point of your fabric cone and glue it to the middle of the felt circle.
Step 5
Repeat steps 3 and 4, gluing your scrunched fabric cones onto the felt until you’ve created a full, fun, fluffy pom.
After you’ve made your pom you can turn it into a headband, necklace, pin or magnet.
If you want larger or smaller poms simply cut your felt and fabric to the size you prefer.
Happy Poming!

I can attest – these are very cute.
Wow, this is so cute. Love it!
ADORABLE! Such a cute idea. Would be cute to fill a bowl as a centerpiece or something.
